FAQ

What makes your motocross helmets different from others?
Our helmets feature MIPS™ Integra Split technology, which reduces rotational forces during angled impacts — the type of crash most common in motocross. We use 4K carbon fiber shells on our pro-level models for maximum strength with minimal weight. Every helmet meets or exceeds DOT and ECE 22.06 safety standards and includes features like emergency cheek pad removal systems and advanced ventilation.
How do I choose the right size helmet?
Measure the circumference of your head about one inch above your eyebrows using a flexible tape measure. Compare this measurement to our size chart on each helmet product page. The helmet should fit snugly but not painfully tight. Cheek pads will break in slightly after a few rides. If you are between sizes, contact our customer service team for personalized guidance.
What is MIPS and why does it matter?
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows slight movement between the helmet and your head during an angled impact. This movement helps reduce rotational forces that can cause brain injuries. Our MIPS Integra Split system uses two layers of EPS foam for enhanced protection. Studies show MIPS can significantly reduce the risk of certain brain injuries compared to traditional helmets.
How should I care for my motocross boots?
After each ride, rinse off mud and debris with water. Use a soft brush for stubborn dirt. Allow boots to air dry away from direct heat sources, which can damage materials. For leather components, apply a quality leather conditioner periodically. Check and tighten buckle screws regularly. Our boots are designed to be resoleable — contact us when your soles wear down to extend the life of your investment.
What is D3O armor and how does it work?
D3O is an advanced impact protection material that remains soft and flexible during normal movement but instantly hardens upon impact to absorb and dissipate energy. This intelligent material is used in our chest guards, knee pads, elbow guards, and back protectors. It is CE-certified and trusted by professional athletes worldwide because it offers superior protection without restricting mobility.

What does your warranty cover?
Our one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This includes structural failures, stitching defects, buckle malfunctions, and helmet shell integrity issues under normal use. It does not cover normal wear and tear, crash damage, or misuse. See our Warranty page for complete details.
My helmet was in a crash. Is it covered under warranty?
Helmets involved in any impact should be replaced immediately, even if no visible damage is apparent. The energy-absorbing liner may be compromised. Crash damage is not covered under our standard warranty, but we offer a crash replacement program that provides a discount on a replacement helmet within the first year of purchase. Contact us for details.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Contact us through our Contact page with your order number, photos of the defect, and a description of the issue. Our team will review your claim within 3-5 business days. Approved claims receive a prepaid return label and either a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
How do I wash my motocross gear?
Jerseys and pants: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Hang dry only. Do not bleach or iron. Gloves: Close Velcro closures before washing, machine wash gentle, line dry. Helmets: Remove liners and hand wash with mild soap. Wipe shell with damp cloth. Never use harsh chemicals or solvents on any gear.
How often should I replace my helmet?
We recommend replacing your helmet every 3-5 years, even if it has not been in a crash. Helmet materials degrade over time from UV exposure, sweat, and temperature changes. Replace immediately after any impact. Regular inspection for cracks, loose padding, or strap wear is also important.
Do your goggles work with all helmets?
Our goggles are designed to fit seamlessly with our helmet line and are compatible with most major motocross helmet brands. They feature adjustable straps and flexible frames to accommodate various helmet shapes. If you have specific compatibility questions, contact us with your helmet model.
How do I break in new motocross boots?
Our boots are designed for minimal break-in, especially the Instinct and Motion models with their step-in comfort. For optimal fit, wear them around the house for short periods before your first ride. The materials will conform to your feet naturally. Do not soak boots in water to accelerate break-in, as this can damage materials and void warranty.
